You were on the forums repeatedly the 3 days before the contest started, according to the dates of your posts. So if you chose not to look, then that's on you. Why on earth would STS announce a player-run contest in game? All they did was contribute a little something extra to a herculean size effort put on by Kalizza and his team.

This is a prime example of how ppl like to use the forum to cry and not use it to inform themselves. Has plenty of time to post same rant over and over, but just can't be bothered to paruse here for information.

if i look over the list of winners, i don t see rich or poor, but i see people with a passion for the core gameplay: elite pve. and people who sacrifice their time and ressources for the community. excellent old players, who educate the new ones, be it in guides, talks, or just joined them in their runs. great new players, who are willing to work up their way together. a perfect example of well thought out and organised contest. flawless!

if anything is to be learned from this, it s that it pays out to be part of the community and engage in the fun that we can have here together with what s already there.

also: it can t hurt to look at the contest section every once in a while.

kudos to the whole team for pulling this off again!

I also did not know about the contest until it started, failed to check contest section. But! I have friends in game who told me! So I helped them with there participation a little bit, and won the random player gold reward! It pays to have friends haha.

Just want to say thanks again for the gold! Kind of wish I had fully played the event for the vanity, but whatever, hind sight always 20-20 .
