Ok I'm just a lil late on this but I just finished Final Fantasy 13 and IMO hands down the greatest story line from a Final Fantasy game and yes even better than ff7. Let me know which ff game or any game that you liked the story behind it.

I remember loving the Breath of Fire storyline, but can't remember it now..
Ummmm ... how about the Legend of Zelda. Young Link fights to save Princess Zelda from the evil wizard Ganon. Now where the heck is my old Nintendo? Lets see how may people played that one. By the way -- I am joking. Kinda.
FF12 and FFtactics. It all reminds me of high-treason, like George R. R. Martin books.
