800 plat option taken out?

So Elly harped about this in Patch Notes forum but it might be buried. I'm wanting to purchase 800 plat thru my ipod like i have but option isn't there anymore and didn't see anything official saying it will be taken out.

Well I bought the 800 for future purchases and to send some platinum when Blackstar comes out.

I heard on the forums a few weeks ago about devs coming out with a 2000 plat option. Not sure if this is in preparation for that though.

• You can now purchase a 2000 Platinum bundle from the Pocket Legends web store!
• You can now type /hostinfo to figure out which player is hosting the game that you are in.
• Changing attributes no longer tells you that your skills have changed

Maybe they are getting rid of the 800 plat so people spend more and get the 2k option.

Exactly that, was twice as much for something like 6 times as much Plat. Def long term investment. Hardly spent any so far.

I think it would be a lot easier if they made the webstore on this website. Because it was very hard to find, i had to type PL webstore, i brought a 165 plat because there was no 800plat, they just lost some revnue.

I just got 800 plat today. Tough choice between that and the 2000 plat option. Something like a skill respec goes from 12.5 cents to just 9 cents with the extra savings. Then again, $90USD is quite a chunk to spend on a game. But compared to the other options, both of these make certain items and actions reasonably priced. And I'll be ready for new dungeons.

My guess? The 30% they "lose" to Apple wasn't worth it on the large packs. Paypal (and the others) collect a much smaller percentage.

I don't understand why you would buy $90.00 of plat... That's one person's food for a week spent on pixels :P

But another reason they might have taken it off is because of the younger and mischievious players who might (un)accidentally spend that much of their parents money because they know the password or just bought something and the password wasn't requested.

People asking why u would buy that much plat? Surely to swap for gold to buy 55 pinks. If u work long hours and come on here to chill u don't want to spend that time running keeper to farm gold. The pink drop rate at BS is shockingly low. I have been running them on my two toons a lot and only have one pink drop. With some pinks going for 1 million gold each the only options for those who play less hours are to wear greens & purples (pretty good gear imo) or run BS until u get enough pinks to kit yourself out or trade for gold on ah, and to do that at my current pink drop rate would take a long time.

Maybe I will start joining the kids in Balefort Castle begging, or perhaps spacetimestudios could introduce a buskers corner with instruments 

A good point, but the conversion rate is awful. 160k gold for 600Plat!!!! I took the 800 Plat option out as an investment for the future(hardly spent any yet). I'm working full-time and in an ok job, but converting plat for gold doesn't stack up IMHO, as the cost of the 50+ gear is too high to justify it on all three classes.

I'll take my time and enjoy the ride, me thinks...
