What is a Guild Thread and Why Would I Need One?

A guild thread is a guild's own page in these forums for players to find out information about the guild and how to join/who to contact to join. You can also announce events to your guild members so they can stay up-to-date with the latest news and updates. Its basically like your own guild advertisement on these forums, where hundreds if not thousands of players will find out about your guild.
