General Guidelines

Strive to be an excellent player.

• Have an open mind, listen to others' ideas.
• If at first you don't succeed...try again… and again… and then please ask for advice or help in guild chat!
• Ensure you are having fun - the primary purpose of any game is enjoyment!
• Balance gameplay and real life. Regularly take the time to step away from gaming and remember what’s really important!

Avoid being a drain on the guild.

• Be respectful in your communications with others.
• Respect the Spacetime Studios Terms of Service!
• Don’t be a Scammer. Scammers are reported to Spacetime Studios Support.
• Don’t be a Leech. Leeches are players who let others do all the work knowing they could be helping their party.
• Grounds for removal: Begging, scamming, leeching, excessive trolling, excessive drama, inappropriate language, excessive party invites and any behavior deemed contrary to the health of the guild.

Money Matters

• Buy it with platinum or earn it! Be entrepreneurial in acquiring better gear and earning gold for your character.
• Lending gold and items between guild members is acceptable, but use caution. If you choose to lend, be willing to accept that you may never see your gold or item again.
• Trading with other guild members is encouraged, including listing items for sale in guild chat.
• Intra-Guild Transaction Guidelines
• If you sell to a fellow guild member, please give a discount. Recommended discount: 10% for legendary items and 5% for mythic/arcane items
• Item price must be clearly stated, bartering is encouraged.
• Avoid spamming guild chat or personal messages to guild members.
• You may announce an item for sale once every 15 minutes in guild chat.
• All transactions are final.
• If a dispute occurs either party may request arbitration, though a fee may be charged.

Player Versus Player

A cool head is required for PvP. If you hold grudges or take it too personally, don’t PvP. Handling victory or defeat with honor, grace and dignity is a hallmark of a good PvP player. Kills are less important than a PvP environment that is enjoyable for everyone. Of course, PvP sometimes requires devious tactics but good players never allow themselves to take things too far.

Axiom’s PvP guidelines are designed to minimize drama and maximize fun.

• Axiom is a neutral guild. Guild alliances lead to unnecessary drama, detract from fun, and create a PvP environment not conducive to good sportsmanship.
• We do not have alliances but Axiom is on generally friendly terms with the following guilds:

• Avoid killing fellow guild members without prior agreement.
• Pre-arranged combat between guildmates is encouraged, especially for training purposes.
• Guild tag is optional in PvP. Your character, your title. Not wearing your guild title in PvP means you accept the risk of accidental combat with a guildmate.
• Be a team player, whenever possible.
• Consider leaving the arena if your team:
  
  • is hopelessly outmatched.
  • has members who fail to help.
  • is bullying the opposing team.
  
  
• Encourage honorable behavior
  
  • Treat opponents with respect, especially weaker opponents
  • Challenge bullying when you witness it.
  • Welcome new players and show them the ropes
  
  
• As much as possible, avoid poor behavior, including:
• Ganging: group of two or more teammates deliberately using greater numbers to easily overwhelm one or more opponents.
• Spot Blocking: taking up a spot on the opposing team with the intention of blocking additional players from joining for support.
• Spawn Farming: an individual player or gang which moves quickly between CTF spawn rooms to trap and kill opponents repeatedly.
• Inappropriate language: Keep the trash talk as clean as possible.

Advancement

Edit: Advancement rules regarding recruiter are suspended until Axiom appears on the guild leaderboard. All players levels 21-46 will be promoted to recruiter upon joining.

Members must be active and prove themselves trustworthy, patient and driven to receive a promotion. New recruits expecting to receive a promotion in return for joining will be asked to leave. Only members who are deemed worthy will be promoted. Promotion is NOT guaranteed even if you meet the requirements. Guild leadership positions come with great benefits and very reasonable expectations.

Guild Leadership Position: Recruiter
Expectation: To add something to the guild, be it new members, encouragement, helping out fellow members, telling jokes, etc. Find what you enjoy and do it!

To be considered for a promotion to Recruiter, a member must demonstrate good leadership qualities and fulfill *any* three (3) of the following requirements:

• Attain Level 26
• Minimum PVE kills/death ratio (kdr) of 20 kills per 1 death
• Minimum PvP kills/death ratio of 1 kill per 2 deaths
• Earn “Shadow Master” title
• Complete one Elite map with a guild leader present
• Achieve 10k PvE kills
• Achieve 500 PvP Kills
• Capture 50 CTF flags

** A Quick Word About Officers **
Officers, above all else, *must* have indisputable integrity. The Officer rank comes with significant power over lower-ranked guild member, requiring caution in choosing who may become one. Members who ask to be promoted to Officer repeatedly will not be considered. Trust takes time to develop, so patience is also a requirement for those seeking to become a candidate. Officer candidates are first nominated by a current Officer and then a vote is taken, the final decision resting with the Guild Master.

Expectation: In addition to meeting Recruiter expectations, an Officer is expected to be a strong player in PvE, PvP or both.

To be considered for a promotion to Officer, a member must demonstrate great leadership qualities and fulfill *any* three (3) of the following requirements:

• Attain Current Level Cap
• Minimum PVE kills/death ratio (kdr) of 30 kills per 1 death
• Minimum PvP kills/death ratio of 3 kills per 4 deaths
• Earn “Techno Viking” and “Paragon” titles
• Achieve 20k PvE kills
• Achieve 1000 PvP Kills
• Capture 500 CTF flags
