When I am on my iPod touch 1G 16GB I cannot view the patch updates. I get the error cannot connect to news server. I have deleted and reinstalled the game many times. Any fix for this?

Should be fixed in 1.2.

If you don't quit the game, but you back out to the login screen and log back in, that generally fixes it for me.
