A new wildling has appeared in Arlor, but this time...it seems friendly. At least to Arlor allies. Dire boars, the common companions of Orc warriors, have started to trickle into Arlor and become loyal to Arlorian heroes. Check out this sneak peak at the new Dire Boar pet "Boris."

The Dire Boar's AA will charge and deal damage to one enemy while knocking back any other enemies in a small radius around him. Boris will be obtainable during your adventure into the new Rage of the Ren'gol expansion, coming soon!

More knockback....sigh. You do realize that spreading out mobs is totally inefficient, right? We already have the mythic pendant scattering mobs all over the place just when we have them all grouped up nicely to kill.

With an AA like that, this pet is legendary at best. Is there ever going to be a new Mythic pet?

Probably new Mythic pet, as usually, unfortunately we still have this Scorch thing and the only Mythic thing about him is the rip off X_X

It's been well over a year. Scorch isn't going to get fixed, or it would have been done already.

I'm guessing Boris will be a kind of ordinary, run-of-the-mill pet once it's novelty wears off HOWEVER if this pet will be widely avail. (perhaps as quest reward), that's not such a bad thing.. pets can't all be Nekro and SNS

the pet looks great, but i consider knockback generally a useless feature in pve too, contradicting all the good teamwork on traps, pulls, taunts, etc..

on the other hand an updated version of vixen could have it s uses in pvp. keep in mind it s the aa which you activate if needed, not a random knockback (the worst form).
