<Elite Runners> Recruitment Thread
Dear Arlor friends!
In order to make it easier for both you and us to enter Elite Runners guild, we decided to make a brand-new thread where you can post your applications. Based on the information you post about yourself, we will try to get in touch with you and take you for a test run.
NEW! You should have at least 50k PvE kills, in particular if you're a mage or a rogue.
Test run is usually conducted in Elite MIsty Grotto or Planar Tomb 2, but according to circumstances sometimes we chose places like Forest of Shades, Jagged Trail or Caves of Tarewa. Sometimes we conduct more than one run in different environments. During the test run you should:
1) If you are a warrior, you should maintain aggro, set up pulls, lead run to the boss if applicable and use appropriate skills to cripple boss. Amongst your skills Horn of Renewal, Axe Throw and Chest Splitter should not be missing.
2) If you are a rogue, you should demonstrate ability to pick up and kill the most dangerous mobs first, such as Shadowmancers, Shamans, Spike Wolves or Big Dudes of any kind. Aimed shot, Noxious bolt and Shadow piercer are a must. Consider using Razor shield in Ren'gol with Spinning Freedom upgrade in particular if you don't have Nekro. Also traps are warmly welcome.
3) If you are a sorcerer, you should demonstrate your ability to maintain crowd control. Your clock should always drop on the biggest cluster of mobs, your ice should be charged making use of the mass freeze chance and your fireball should knock down the mobs when running to boss. Fireball, Ice, Timeshift and Light for boss are a must.
Note: Many pros will disagree with the above skills, for example many pro mages use Gale Force. Nevertheless, the above mentioned skills ensure safe runs for an average party. If you consider that you have mastered your individual build, you can demonstrate it during recruitment runs.

Note: If you want, you can blur or mask out your guildname. But unfortunately, we can't allow you to mask your IGN. As for the elite maps APs - we want to make sure here that you openly admit the missing APs. We don't like players joining ER only in order to achieve some hard-core APs, such as Mount Spyr or Rockhorn Summit. So, no problem doing the APs with you but be patient. BTW, an elite runner - rogue in particular - should be able to solo all maps until Nordr. Best players solo any map.

While I love my current guild, I have hard times to find a party for elite farming.
Very important: During our big pulls, it can happen that you die. It's no big deal if it happens every now and then, it happens to us too, of course. But, unless very close to the start of the map (first pull), you are expected to use ankhs or plats for revival. We don't wait for you keeping the boss alive and we don't expect you to leave the party fighting a pull while you are struggling back!!!
And one more thing - don't use the popular word "lag" when you die. If you lag, wait with your recruitment run. We are pros enough to distinguish wheather you're dying because of lags or because of something else.
