What amount of Platinum before good items?

Hello folks.
I have recently been opening a lot of locked in my level 27 character, with crappy and questionable results.

I have opened about 5000 platinum worth of locked's on this character, and the only 3 items above the "Legendary" rarity are:
Singe Egg
Mythic Warrior Helmet
Mythic Rogue Helmet

Now, I assumed that level did not play a part as far as what Arcane or Mythic items you can receive, but I feel as though that is wrong. I seem to only be able to get things within my level.

I have opened at least 10,000 Platinum total on my account, without ever getting a mythic or Arcane weapon, since I began playing.(Some on a 36 when 36 was the maximum level) with the total following results:
1 Samael Egg
1 Singe Egg
2 Mythic Warrior Helmets
1 mythic rogue helmet
1 mythic ring
3 mythic Amulets

NOW ON TO THE QUESTIONS:

1. How level-dependant are Arcane and Mythic rarity drops? (Please, official data, not opinions)

2. Are those typical results for 10,000 platinum worth of locked grand crates being opened?

3. Personal platinum/locked experiences

I doubt STS will release "official data" regarding their drop rates. For the second question: speaking from personal experience, yes that is quite typical, around 5 000 platinum/arcane.

It's extremely random. I'd say more like 10k plat/arcane, but again, it's extremely random.

Opening locked I find this:
Mythic odds: 1/100
Arcane odds: 1/750
Shard odds: 1/10000

It's pretty random though.

I personally dont use that amount of plats and i use free plat.. i think its kinda random.. on my experience last febuary i just got lucky with arcane pet singe second locked opening in which i had only 15plat on my account.. first locked i got 30plat and 2x 2k.. and second locked i got singe.. as i said i dont open locked crate with that much of plats.. so maybe it does not have a ratio on how much plat you use.. thats what i think..

Alright, thanks for the replies, I feel better about the ratio now. Just was kind of wondering how other people's luck has faired.

I still am wondering if it is pointless to open locked on anything under 41. The legendary conquistador stuff is pretty weak and worth little at all levels. Might as well open them on something that has a chance for high lvl myth/arc items.

Can a lvl 27 get mythic and arcane above lvl 27? Like myth ring/amulet and lvl 36/41 arcane/mythics?

Any level can get the mythics/arcanes.

Someone in my guild opened like 50-70 daily, he got 2 maridos yesterday, so far he got 1 sam, 1 singe, 6 maridos. He said dont overdo it, open like 10 per hour.

I've spent over 20k play opening locks.... I've never received an arcane item. Maybe 10-15 mythics but that's it.

1. Not lvl dependent at all, any lvl can loot mythics or arcanes.
2. Those are pretty good results, my last 3k of platinum ive gotten 0 mythics and 0 arcanes(at which point i started spending plat on luck kits. Much happier since then)

I've used 6k+plat and have never gotten anything better than mythic rogue gear, so I'd say that's pretty normal
