200 Elite Arena Master's Chests

In my search for a pendant recipe I decided to make a YouTube playlist of all Arena Chests I have opened since the introduction.
Some people claim to have done "hundreds" of runs while others got "lucky" and looted 1 or even more recipes in only a few runs.

*** This afternoon I finally looted my first recipe. It took me 619 runs to get it. Thanks to everyone who was always willing to party with me, I really appreciate it!

684 runs = 1x recipe, 1x vial, 7x reinforced gems

I think he posted the opening of 200 chests as proof that he has indeed completed 200 runs with 0 recipes to date. I, myself, have completed upwards of 500 arena runs without a recipe, so, in my opinion, the drop rate is too low. Especially considering that otherwise, there is absolutely no value in running the arena. It's not like Noble, Shade and Architect gear would even pay for the pots, let alone the ankh and elixirs.

Let's not get started on the Fossils in Arena Chest thing....that will either make me laugh like a maniac or throw my computer out the window, could go either way.

Ahaha this is eaxactly how I'm feeling about the recipe! With 300 runs so far and nothing, I'm starting to question my sanity.

Sera had a really good suggestion to put the dark armor in the arena chests too and I hope they do that soon! The 30g a run from item liqadation is...

Thank you man I appreciate it. After the Tindirin release I started running with some other warriors who are alot better than me. So decided to retire tank. Mage is more fun anyway :P

Yes, whatever comes in these chests needs to be made a bit rare though. In the past everything that was ever put in arena drops had its market killed really fast as it became way too common. I think this is because you get a chest guaranteed for every arena run, so given the same odds of looting a legendary from a chest, these become way too common. I think perhaps this itself needs to be re-examined. Perhaps chests should be a rare drop just like they are in the tombs or any elite dungeon. Then have some kind of worthwhile legendary drop that can be found in them but is not quite as rare as the fossil or amulet recipe.

What I do NOT want is for them to increase the chances of getting the fossil or recipe. I too have not yet looted (or purchased) the recipe, but I like how it is something that is rare.

U r right Z..imbued gear in arena will kill tombs..Some thing like ankhs and few gold instead of crappy gear that hardly make 30gold. so that they dont broke your ATM gold. Not saying complete gold spent on ankhs and pots..

they should really replace the nobles and arcitects....kind of sucks that the new content literally poops out oldies. not saying that we need drak crystals in them, but making something actually worthwhile farming so many chests and spending alot on ankhs. It really doesnt make it worth it to run so many, get chests and all legendaries that you get are supposed to be disappointing gears.

Like 2k,5k,10 nd 50k.
Or ankh kits
Or 100 mana or health potions drop..
That would be better
