I barely use up my 10 I have, though I don't put up holiday items and such which he does.

i have 13 in all i use... but its work to manage them... u have to check em, check prices of every piece.. etc

I figure it is like mail, the more 'urgent' / 'must read' / 'time sensitive' stamps, the more likely I am to ignore it

Lol. For a few times, I sold 250 items at once. The whole shop has my name for about 50 pages especially those items which are same level and which I'm selling them at same price. ^^ It's fast enough. Massive sales. I logged in next day and there were more than 50 sales completed.
