Bad Mojo... am I just unlucky?
So I've been attempting to pick up some pinks for my alts off of Bad Mojo in Wyldwood. I've been zoning in from the Goblin Stronghold and have killed the Spirit of Fire nearly 40 times without seeing Bad Mojo spawn.
Generally I enter the zone, kill the first bunch of mobs, move up the path and aoe down the mobs and SoF. I have tried waiting around, dpsing slower on SoF, etc... nothing.
Am I just unlucky or am I doing something wrong?
I've killed him there a number of times doing just this strategy. My understand is that he's a random spawn throughout the zone and I've killed him numerous places (paths, around the stones, and on the way to SoF from Stronghold)Originally Posted by Ayrilana

I have 2 chars over 50+, have done all the quests on both and i have run into Bad Mojo once. Its all luck lol and apparently i have none lol.

I got him once when I was around level 18... 34 levels ago. Haven't seen him since.
For those who want to know what he looks like...
Lol he's easy to spawn. TT used to farm him all the time. I've killed him over a good 50 times. Just walk all the way to the goblin stronghold, then once you're inside leave again. Keep doing it till bad mojo is literrally right at the entrance of the stronghold (well not quite literally, take a few steps forward lol.)
I had a friend of mine tell me that using the Goblin Stronghold portal strategy that if you get a pink drop from SoF, then Bad Mojo on the map somewhere....so I popped in and out killing SoF until I got pink, then ran map looking for Bad Mojo and found him not far from SoF in a fork in the road.....so, I thought...Wow, this really works...however, next two times I got pink from Sof...ran the whole map and NO Bad Mojo.....fail...but he did appear just as I came out of the portal and again almost right next to SoF in about 50 times in and out of the portal i Killed him 4 or 5 times....plus I got several pinks from SoF.....This was done with my level 50 alt....

So just go in and out of the portal and not worry about SoF? Do you bother with the goblins at the entrance?
Coincidence. Drop rate for loot has nothing to do with spawn rate of enemies.
One night..... Back when I was level 23 me and a buddy got Bad Mojo 9 times. We thought we found the secret of wondrous income, and then the next night, after two hours, once. Recently I've tried again, and almost can't get him.
