Issues About Reporting and Getting Reported

Hey everyone, just got back from a 3 day ban and jus have a few important questions...

1) I haven't reported anyone so I wouldn't know: do you need poof when reporting someone?
2) Does calling people "stupid" or "fag" result in a ban?

I'm asking these because I've never called anyone beyond the regulations (yep, I've read all of them), so me getting banned was a bi- huge surprise for me. So then I recalled what I think I did "wrong", I believe I called someone a "fag-runner" durin a PvP match with Itchcof (or Dexsterdy, can't remember). Then I think that victim reported me. But I'm still not sure because, when I e-mailed STS, then wouldn't tell me why I was banned specifilly; just that I broke their regulations... Any thoughts would be appreciated!

not calling someone stupid but using the word fag will get you banned as its insulting someone for being "homosexual"

I think the thing to take away from this experience is that terms you might think are cool are not acceptible in a polite society. Consider this a lesson learned, and be grateful it only cost you three days.
