Looted my first Arcane item ever!
After 2.5 years of playing Arcane Legends, and approximately 700-800 locked crates opened, I finally looted an arcane item today, a Samael egg.
I used to do what many others do which is to open large batches of crates at once. But that never worked for me and when you spend 1k+ plat in a single sitting and have nothing to show for it, it's depressing. So instead, about 6 months ago I started a new strategy..... I would never buy a single locked crate, but any time I looted one, I would put it in the stash and then wait until one of the following to occur -- either a crate sale or "double odds" of some sort, or an event that I could use the crates to craft event crates. Then I would open whatever crates I had. And since I don't specifically farm for crates, I usually only have a dozen or so at a time, sometimes less.
So this event I only had 6 crates in the stash going into the event. So I crafted 2 goblin crates, opened them, and got all 5k/10k gold rewards. So over the past 2 days of running the event, I looted 3 locked crates. So today I crated them into a goblin locked, opened it and poof!!! there was a Samael egg.
It sure took me long enough. I only regret that I didn't loot one of the more pricey arcane items like a shard or fossil. But I'll take it. Now the decision of whether or not to sell or to use on my twink (my level 10 sorcerer already has Singe as my main pet, and will soon have Nightshade, so I'm not sure if Samael will be of much use).

do you think nightshade is worth it for twinks?
