Problematic 50 inventory slots instead of 250.. character created before 1.2 patch

Hi Devs, i recently rerolled my archer before the 1.2 patch, it was stated in the update that old characters will have 250 inventory slots as apposed to new characters (5o). However, my character gankenstein is only allowing me to have 50 inventory slots, asking me to vendor some items before joining maps. As gankenstein is now my main archer and not nyk, the extra 200 slots is very important. Please let me know if this can be fixed.

Have this same problem on a few characters. Can use enter towne button, but can not start a new game or switch townes because of item restriction. Characters were made well before 1.2.

Same problem. I made alot of chars before 1.2 and had a 250 inventory slot, but now it switched to 50.........

Existing characters will be upped to 250 slots shortly, and those that have purchased inventory slots will have their platinum refunded. After this occurs, all newly created characters will be at the 50 slot limit.
