Running backwards?

When I used to kite I would always run forward but now since the patch when I kite I'll kind of run backwards, then forward. It looks cool, like I'm really fighting and trying to run backward as fast as I can without tipping over.

Has this always been there or am I just noticing it? I'm not always the most observant person and I find that I have a hard time seeing sometimes in BS because of all of the flashing lights contrasting against the dark stone so I'm not sure if I'm out of my gourd thinking this is new.

New in the patch. Guess they had implemented for another game and liked it so much they added it to PL.

No, it's new content. You actually face your opponent now so if you're running away/kiting you will get a moonwalking effect. Pretty sweet (I've been trying to get my moonwalk down since the 80's and my bird did it overnight).

cool! I love it. Very neat and it really kind of adds excitement...like I FEEL like I'm really running from a boss or whatever.

I did some runs last night with Droo and it was a lot of fun...exciting and the backward running made it even more fun.

Before the patch I run backwards.. wid my camera facing opposite direction.. now i get to try running backward wid my elf actually doin it.. its so much fun!! Before i get to run sideways too hhahaha. Freaky.. but fun and challenging. lol lol.

when you lock on an enemy you will face him no matter where you are... therefore you run backwards

Oooh! I'll have to try. Although the last time I played zoomed in I got all confused and got lost.

I swear I'm usually really smart I'm just REALLY bad with directions.

You got me hooked on zoom. Now i can't play zoomed out. I used to max camera distance so i can see enemies from afar.
