whats up with all the guardian armors so cheap in auction

each one is like 10 or 20 plat right? but some ppl have many listed for 500 gold each. doesn't make sense.

am i wrong to draw a bad conclusion??

For 500 Gold you get the armor, the mountain grinder, some pots and 5 ankhs...
