feedback on new player experience

i would just like to say that the new player experience that was implemented in 1.7.1 is excellent. i made a new character today and was amazed by what i saw. however, the turntable thing with all the characters could turn a little bit slower. also, some weapon customization would be cool too. i had no problems with the tutorial area, it was superb, especially the flames and grates. i highly recommend checking this out if you havent made a new character recently.
