The Vyx spawn was broken. The join game function is fixed and waiting on Apple to approve.

I think Vyx spawn was on purpose as a fun event for all us farmers.

EDIT: On another note, they changed the Close Encounters map for AO3. P'Othrozz doesn't spawn where he usually does but there's a teleportal that takes you inside the pyramid where you fight him and about 6 other blue aliens.

While I am glad that Apple is rethinking their rating system (I hate seeing games show up on top with 2 stars just bc a lot of people downloaded them), it's sad to see our free plat go bye-bye
