Hate to tell you, but charity doesn't come often in this world, but(!), a dragonite bar can be farmed if you keep at it! Just junp into The Wilds or grab a decent group and run Elite Wilds and you'll have a bar in no time!

Hm, not sure how much you have invested into this process yet, but we just got our pendants, so the process is fresh in my mind. The planar amulet involves a lot of work.
You need:
* Recipe
* Dragonite Bar
* 120 planar essences
* 3 boss essences from Arena
* The 250,000 coin item (forget the exact name of it right now) for cleansing the boss essences
The dragonite bar can be farmed as mentioned by Visiting. It takes time and luck, but you can do it without spending a ton on gold and ankhs. We paid for ours, but now we are farming so that we can sell them.
The recipe is something you might just have to bite the bullet and buy, unless you can get REALLY lucky and loot it.
The planar and boss essences require a lot of fighting with good gear and good parties. You'll end up needing to spend money on potions and/or ankhs to get all of the required essences. Don't think there is a way around that.
However, because you'll be doing a lot of planar tombs and arena runs to get the essences you need, you have a chance of looting some stuff worth selling. You'll also earn planar fragments in the tombs that you can buy stuff with as well, so that could help out with your funding as well, 8^).
It is a lot of work to get, but it is a nice boost up to have.

Did you start by asking if they could donate a dragonite bar?
Seriously, no one wants to work their butt off to help someone who doesn't want to put the time in themselves because they will probably just end up quitting anyway. The expansion is almost here. Get a lep if you don't have one, and farm the new locks when they come out. You'll make a ton of gold that way. That will be the fastest way to get what you want.

In order to get the pendant, even with help, you're going to need a certain level of skill and equipment.
Have you completed any of the Elite maps at all? You need to at least be able to complete most of the elite area maps before you can tackle the Planar Tombs and Arena.
PS You might see some familiar names in that list in the Sorcerers section.
