The Founder’s Helm and the idea of Veteran Rewards

When the team envisioned the “Founder’s Helm” it was just as the name implies – a genuine thank you item for the people who have been with us since the very beginning. We have gone ahead with that concept. Today’s game update granted accounts that were created in April or May of 2010 and logged in during the last week this unique, class specific helm.

While discussing the idea of a unique show of gratitude for our original players, we touched upon the concept of Veteran Rewards. For those who aren’t familiar with a Veteran Rewards program, it is a system of giving rewards to accounts based on the age of the account. We really like the concept of rewarding our loyal players for sticking with Pocket Legends.

Rather than taking something like the Founders Helm and quickly turning it into a Veteran Reward, we’d rather take the time to do it right and create a more robust system of Veteran Rewards. We know that we would be nowhere without our fans.

Allright, Samhayne. Sounds good. One question though. I thought April-June was getting a helm? I was in the June era and thought I was getting one, now I feel a bit let down. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

We didn't want to do that as it makes the Founder's Helm less special - and it's not that great of a Veteran Reward, because it's used for something else. That's why we're taking extra time to make the Veteran Rewards good.

Amazing! You know what would be a cool idea for Veteran rewards? People who have been around from day one should get their own special reward. It would be like the Crown of Persistence, but silver with a purple gem .

Maybe a veteran set? Sword and armor( like the craft guy in bs town) ^_^ that one is awesome..

Well my idea for a reward program is players is in game reward which expired durimg a time limit. Players who spent a certain amout of time playing sould be rewarded with more luck. Rather then a player who just login once awhile and do one run and get drops. Also players who have played and spent there hard earn money and most important there time night and day playing sould be rewarded base on plats bought and time spent online. Rewards could be items that you can only get by playing for certain amount time like "founders helm" i know its our decision to buy plats but sould berewarded for showing support towards this great game.
