It started happening ever since the Mega combos were introduced. I'm thinking its a bug, since a combo technically means the use of two things (skills)
I noticed it too! And like Elly, I think its a bug. At first I thought there was a new combo.. but I noticed no white skill name text shows up after the "combo" is performed.

Still seems to do extra damage though. The "COMBO" text is fun to see, regardless.

I believe this is related to the Trash Heap combo glitch. The devs will probably patch this up soon.
