ok if you hav a jailbroken device then use 3g unrestrictor to play without wifi

I have been playing off and on all day and it hasn't had any lag. Runs very smooth on my iphone 4.

I don think it is good to discuss or compare other games with Pl.. U are on PL forum guys.. Its like comin to ur house and tell u that ur house is not nicer den my house.. Devs are tryin hard to make this game works..

Exactly, that is why you will never see me make a thread advertising another game. I'm a true PLer, probably will never change. Guess PL has its own fan boys, like apple.

Nah, I'm definitely with you here.

I tried it again for another 2 hours, things got better, but just not worth the time I could have for PL instead. I'll wait for B*.

I tried it as well, and it just feels cluttered. Pocket Legends has a very nice UI which makes it very comfortable to play. I believe I just wasted some money this evening.

i used 3g unrestrictor but you must be jailbroke r rooted this game loooks like the bomb only thing is when u sign what are the worlds for there is like 4 r 5 of em im confused somewhat

I would think they are like servers, so you get to choose which server you would want to connect. Check out some videos in youtube, I saw in one of those vids that you can connect to different servers which are at different locations but might affect your ping.

Hi Christina! I think as long as the discussion is constructive and there isn't a clear intent of pirating players to and from the another game, I think it is ok to discuss.
As Samhayne as pointed out, they have differences.

OaC is subscription/microtrans model with upfront cost. PL is free to play.

OaC is like almost 600 MB game. PL is a fraction of that size.

OaC has some hefty phone requirements. PL plays on tons of phones and older iOS devices.

OaC seems to me to be for those who like WoW but don't have a gaming computer and only a phone. You can't play it on the go, so why not just play WoW or your other favorite PC MMO?

Still, it looks to be a fun experience. In the short term, it's free advertisement for us, since anyone evaluating OaC is probably going to compare it to Pocket Legends. We wish Gameloft all the best with it.

And possibly they have very different playstyles. I bought OaC just to test it out, its only 7$, easy to recover, just cut down on *nomnomz* (food, maybe skip a lunch or two heheehe!) and you get to play for 3 months. My point is just as long as our discussion is healthy. (Although the thread title maybe a bit overboard :P)

I posted this so the PL devs could see how much of a threat OaC really is. I wanted them to see that they need to make there game better if they really want to compete. Consider this a constructive slap to the face :P
