how do you learn proffesions

You learn crafting by doing a start up quest. It's called "The Apprentice". You collect the items needed, and the reward is a scroll to allow you to choose what kind of crafting you want to do. Tailoring (cloth for mages), Leather working (leather for rangers), and Blacksmithing (plate for warriors). Im not sure where Monks fall under since I see them being able to use Polearms, maybe leather?

So there's no way to teleport directly to a friend? (without using the teleporter, of course)

I assumed the invite button would allow someone to come right to you.

Teleport scrolls.. They are sold in the city.. Best thing ever!

be a mage, you get sick skills, especially if your an undead one you get cool talents

Btw, would anyone know if different races have different skills? Like in WoW, you get some race specific skills. Or are we all the same here, warriors no matter what race?

i have a human and undead mage and they get seperate skills
Ex. Undead gets fire and ice skills while human gets lightning wind skills

I'm not sure if its the same for all races, but I found mine in the second town after the first tutorial town. After the first time you teleport.

I bought the game on iPod 3G .. I made a monk in the Arcadian server. Is there a way to Change servers? And guys add me up and invite me to your guilds. Got a lvl 5 monk!

Wow did not know that.

Is there a way to respec your skills if you screw it up? I want to be able to play around with them without worrying about the long term consequences.

Well Immortales i'm going to have to call you on that one, because my human mage has fire/ice, and no word of lightning or wind, going to make a undead real fast to check to see what they have, but im 100% positive all mages get fire/ice
