    Urosth's Assault

    Quick update on Ursoth's Assault! We're still going strong and can't wait to release the event to the masses. As you've seen from our teasers, there's a whole new line-up of pets to collect during the events. But, that's not all. A new player has entered the game, if you will. As you'll remember, one year ago, Ursoth opened a portal to Arlor from Elondria. Finally, as the event came to a close, the Arlorian heroes banished him back to him home and sealed the portals. However...one remained untouched and has been discovered by a not so savory creature who plans to use it for some no-good-very-bad things.

    Keep an eye out for Teaser Friday where we'll introduce you to the blood curdling new foe in the Ursoth's Assault story line.

    Damage Statistics Fix

    Some of you reported a peculiar damage bug in game that was causing stat estimates for items to be displayed incorrectly. Some chests were even reporting +DMG. *cute twilight zone theme* I'm happy to report that this is a visual bug only, and does not effect the actual calculation of your stats in game.

    The bug will be fixed in our next client release, to be announced soon.

    In Other News

    Ankhs and Respec Scrolls Removed from Ren'gol Crates

    You guys are so well stocked on Ankhs and Respec scrolls that players were receiving ankhs and respecs from Ren'gol Crates that when new ones dropped...they just fizzled into the ether! Oh no! Ankhs and Respecs have now been removed from Ren'gol crates.

    Level 41 Button Removed From the Map

    Thank you all so much for your feedback on the Level 41 Advancement pack. After some suggestions from our twink community, we have removed the Level 41 Advancement button from the World Map.

    Token Vendor Klassi's Gear Now Shows Stats

    Correction: Token Vendor Klassi's gear has been replaced with exclusively level 46 gear and displays stats in the description.

    Bug Fixes

    + Poisonous and Epidemic gear have been returned to their original stats.

    Token Vendor Klassi's legendary gear is special in that when you purchase it--it scales to your level. That makes it difficult to label with specific stats, since it will vary based on the person viewing them. But, to give you all a better look at what you're buying, Klassi's items now describe which stats will be enhanced when you equip the gear.

    As for what we want to see next? Make it take less than 3 years of daily farming to make one noble gem! Please!

    I find the depicted, enlarged damage debuff icon still doubling as an indication of bleed status to be inflammatory and provoking.

    Poison, bleed and on-fire DoT's need their own icons. Seriously.


    +1 to adjustments on jewel system too. As it stands the extra one stat is not worth a hundred times more work and waiting.

    ^ I'm inclined to strongly agree with this!

    It would be nice to know how the developers are viewing jewels and what you project for how they fit in with the player experience... maybe that is what is needed.

    Was the plan for us to aim for full noble jewel sets over the course of one expansion?

    Or are we supposed to be aiming to have full sets of +4 this expansion followed by +5 next expansion, aiming to add 1 more stat per jewel over the next few expansions until when the cap is 100 we finally complete our jewel set which we have socketed and unsocketed and carried with us through the game?

    This is a genuine question and I think that if no major changes are going to be made to the jewel system, some clarification of the thought process behind the system would perhaps help players adjust to the new system and make realistic goals.

    At the moments, we just see that the best jewel is noble and automatically think we should be aiming to max out our sets with those and are then confused/disheartened when it seems like an impossibly long process.
