Scorch in desparate need of a buff!

(Please keep in mind that the scorch im referring to is lvl 45)


So i know there has been some thread about scorch in need of a buff before but it died out and no one seems to really talk about it anymore. So i made a new thread...
Earlier today i did a few tests on scorch. I went to shuyal forest breach and did the test there. The blue mage there does 400 to 430 dmg to me each hit (without scorch shield) when i activated scorch's aa the mage only did around 250 dmg but it broke the shield!!!

i did the test on the undead wolf and same thing it seems the shield can only take in around 250dmg because when the wolf did 207 dmg the shield didnt break!

Are u telling me that a lvl 45 mythic pet whos aa gives u shield and suppose to increase survivability can only take in around 250dmg??

We also used 250 plat to get him and frankly 250 plat is quite a handfull. We wasted that much for a crappy pet like him??

I am speaking in behalf of all the people that used plat to buy scorch and isnt satisfied with it.

Its a forgotten pet nowadays, Frankly I don't see anyone using it now and I don't think STS will buff a pet which only so few players use it. I'm sorry for your wasted plats.
If these buff threads would have been made when freshly it was released then maybe it could have been buffed.
But for now I'm sorry I don't see any chances for STS buffing it.
Sometimes you just have to let go of the old stuff.

It fits at its class. It doesnt ranked bad as a mythic pet, i dont think it desperately needs a buff just because nekro (which has the same aa as scorch) got a sheild buff.

Nekro's aa give 40%dmg reduction
Scorch's aa breaks when 250 dmg is taken its a big differrence at least just buff the aa a little

Thats why its mythic. Why compare a mythic pet that is easily purchasable for 250 plat to an arcane pet that doesnt just need a fossil but also needs a farming effort for a recipe and 10 vials. I dont know why scorch needs to be compared to nekro, both only gives sheild but doesnt mean that they should be compared.

Why not compare scorch to LnL or other mythic pets that are in the same category as him?

Well what if i compair nightshade to what ever that arcane sharks name is or dovabear to singe? I dont think ops saying he wants it in the same ballpark as nekro he simply pointed out the major diffrence. And i think hes right i not saying any thing like nekros shield but he is a mythic pet and deserves a mythic aa.

Its an old pet. Its easily gettable. It has decent stats. Shouldn't compare it with nekro. Iam sure nekro worths lot more than 250 plats.
Many people have bought Ripmaw for 250 plats aswel.

Hard to think they came out not 2 far apart cuz nekro was useless for the better part of a year untill they buffed him. So why not scorch. And anyone can buy arcane fossel yes its more then scorch but still it can

I have no idea of what you guys are talking about. Scorch's sheild is considered as a mythic aa. Its not as great as nekro but its not a trash. I can still see scorch as a decent pet and saw players who are able to play decently using that pet.

Theres no such thing as "desperately need a buff" for this pet.

Compairec to nekros it is compleat trash it has no affect in elites not even rly past dead city whats usefull about that aa? If some one spends 250 plat u should atleast b told the shield is trash and the pet will just have 2 b used for stats. Look at slags aa thats a mythic aa. I would love u to show me how u co sider scorches aa mythic given that there r legendary pets with better aas

I agree scorch is a miserable excuse for a mythic pet, and I would rather use malison than scorch, but its is has too scarcely used nowadays for devs to waste their time buffing it.

Mehh, the owners of this pet just like me gave up...... Sts never read those numerous threads about this, anyway its an old pet so there's a really low chance of it getting a buff.

Anyone who owns a Scorch knows that it's GARBAGE and that STS could care less about improving this failure of pet (they have your plat, why take the time to improve the waste of plat?). Only purpose that is has from what I see is for free flagging :/

Only reason people dont use it is because its not buffed. And how can u say its aa is decent? It breaks when 250 dmg is recieved thats like a 1 hit from a bluemage in normal shuyal.

I have scorch so assuming someone who dont want buffs on it, don't own it, is fail.
Anyway, I would like buff on it. Sure. But its too late.
Scorch has not bad stats.
I used to beat rogues in 1-1 with scorch. It's shield sure is not goof but not a thrash either.
The crit bonus is op. Remember the time it was one of very few pets giving high crit bonus.
Its too late to revive an old pet.
So Iam saying No to buff on it, not because I don't own it.
Owning a scorch isn't really hard from any angle anyway.
