Skill upgrades?

Hey guys I have had friends ask me and have wondered myself what exactly upgrading my skills do. Obviously the spells become more powerfully in ways but I can't figure out in wich ways so I don't ever know what is really worth upgrading can anyone shed light on this for me Ty Ty.

Hmm... most of the skills describe, in a fairly straightforward way, what happens when you add skill points to them (by saying things like +X(amount/damage/time) per level). If there is a range of damage or something, say 20 to 70, then the low is at the min level and high at the max level. So to follow this made up example, with 1 skill point, you might expect 20 - 30, with 2 pts. 30 - 40, 3 pts. 40 - 50, etc. The descriptions are a bit vague and the effects of the skills still get tweaked a good bit, but it should be fairly easy to know what additional points will do.

Also, if you look in the class-specific forum sections, you will find different guides with opinions on which skills to spend your points on.
