I just add comments on why I'm reporting and leave the rest up to them.

i'm not sure if dev can ban for doing that, you know like telling this person that the item is worth this much when its really worth this much.

I really can't tell if he's a scammer with a noob approach, or just really dumb.
I wasn't on the forums during the imperial/whirl thing because of a nasty computer virus. Wiped my mac os, win 7, xp, and only my ubuntu operating system works now... really nasty. 6 TB of things were deleted... oh well.. most of it is on a cloud server. Should get it all back soon. Planning on just backing up this OS and wiping my whole computer. Getting sorta off topic, but the point is, I'm glad I missed it.

1. I'm sure they can, as they've banned for excessive inappropriate booting before.
2. I do, especially if it relates to R rated stuff or racism. They'd probably change his name if they don't ban him anyway.
3. I think it depends. Someone saying free plat for account info is reportable, while someone who doesn't know that plat can't be traded is just new.
4. Yeah that's all personal. I lend people gear on my list if I know them without hesitation

I got this from one of the links to a picture MAlandM gave me. Not his fault tho, I was tired and moved my mouse over it. It was a jpg, and in the compression code it launched a java applet, which d/l tons of stuff before I figured it out, and that's what screwed me. Went thru Kasperky, AVG, Norton, COMODO, ZoneAlarm, Mircrosoft's, McAffee, etc.... like 14 in total. Yeah, I'm paranoid. I d/l a lot of things like keygens, and I need to be careful.
did you pay or was the anti virus programs you downloaded free?
Half are payed, half are free. Or around half.
EDIT: oh, and malware bytes... idk how it got thru that....
i get a weird scary feeling when i see a virus pop up or something i think that's a virus.

It's not so much the virus pop-ups, this was completely silent. Compelteled wiped my MBR, imbedded itself in the bios, very nasty. Currently replacing files in w7 one by one... but it's taken so long I think I'll wipe..
