RYyLOX BLASTERS BACK IN THE DAY

Hey Everyone, if you played back in 45 cap you would know that the ryyolx blaster and all the other blasters looked different, they were so amazing and looked so damn good. I was wondering if a dev or ANYONE could tell me why why, why and who changed them to guns. Every blaster had a different color and pattern, imo best looking items in game. If anyone has a picture of them could you please post since all of my pics got deleted and I would love to see one of em again and know why they changed the look.- c

Omg they looked so good back then everyone wanted a ryylox or a sniper is what I remeber though, I think I had a thoth Thanks david for finding em.

It wasn't just the Alien Blasters. They changed the appearance in the v1.4 graphical revamp. That was when bobble head mage was removed, helm appearances were added, and so on. Tons of item designs changed (wammos, warlord, jeweled bows), most of which were for the worse. They did the revamp to make the game look "newer" and more "polished." As to why they changed Alien Blasters specifically so much, it's anyone's guess.

idk id say alien bow change is more drastic, the jeweled crossbows def look better in old version, the regular jeweled bow doesnt seem like a major change to me, just a bit cleaner now

This is why (can't remember who suggested) it was a good idea to have separate servers for each cap, and only those who were actually at the cap should be able to join the servers and go back in the "good ol' days." Maybe a bad idea, idk.
