Share items amount characters

I hope there is a function to share items amount characters with the same account, otherwise, why don't I just open an new account to play more character instead of buying additional character slot? Neither ways have benefit anyway.
Or u may add a master patch ,etc which can provide a storage among characters and some attractive functions.

A trade option would be great! Getting rare purple items that are of no use or real value in gold. Would be good to send items from one character to another.
