Why is wall root so important against 56 bears?

would u rather the bear moving? or would u rather the bear rooted, dodge debuffed and you can hit it from 13m? same benefiets as single root, useful in FFA cuz u can root 3 ppl and it has a delay so u can time it for after their beckon

Double root is required against bears not just for l56 only. It's another root, bears dodge is pretty high so before u use precious combo and skills u wanna make sure that it dont get dodged as far as possible.
If u use two roots before combo the chance is more that at least one root will hit enemy, if both roots hit then that should just be the end of it . This is the basic reason other than that, it has dmg per sec and can be used as another root as str chars may clr the effect by heal/stomp etc and u just use another to take em surprise and make em fool.

leme tell u few things as u kept saying us struggle to kills str, remember the fast finger and range? even if the enemy is rooted still u have pretty less time because the effective times of the root are very low so u have to deliver ur combo pretty fast otherwise u'll endup using ur combo when root was gone, if u aint fast enough try to reduce the size of ur combo, so that at least ur precious combo hit the enemy while rooted.

for example after root if u use brk shat blast and u do it not so fast, at the time of blast the enemy was not rooted either get faster or remove the brk from it, as fast u go, u'll deliver more skills even after shat blast after successful rooting and someday u'll be able to kill bears even without missing or no use of shattering screem but well that would take more time.

And then the range is another key, most the skills of bears are short ranged try to take benefit of it, if u still failing to get outta their becon u may do blind and repulse together at the time when they try to becon u, at very first most of the cases, so atleast one MAY hit if blind was hitted boom, u got ur chance if repulse was hitted then still ur safe and deliver ur combo, don't let em go after that.

Many players who play bear are clueless about the other classes, you use avian at the same time you'd use stomp or heal to get out of a stun, it's just common sense.

You should use avian whenever you anticipate a stun coming. The timing can actually be very crucial and sometimes the determining factor as to if you lose the fight or not. If you can get better at timing your avian perfectly you'll be a much better bird. I suggest recognizing the skills that stun/freeze/root and using avian right before they hit you. That way you can evade the root and still maintain the maximum distance from your opponent. If you use it too late, it will slow you down just enough for them to combo you.

I would also suggest saving repulse for after avian, that way you have an escape route if you mis-time avian.

I haven't tried this (since I tend to kitexkite -like a nub according to bears-), but does Avian still take effect even if the bear dodges. I'm assuming it does.

The effect is sort of like a self buff (I believe) so it always takes effect on yourself. However the knockback+stun does depend on hit% and dodge.

I've personally never had it fail from getting me out of a stun/root/freeze.

self effect of avain has nothing to do with enemies just like self heal nothing to do with enemies.
