Should i change to and int bird

THIS IS MY BIRD AND IM WONDERING IF I SHOULD CHANGE INTO AN INT BIRD, IS IT A GOOD IDEA, IDK BUT ALOT OF MY FRIENDS CHANGED INTO ONE AND I DONT KNOW WETHER I SHUD BUY MORE PLAT OR NOT,

as you could see i only had 202k so heres wat i did to my bird (i just used the money i had )

.............1 Day and 4 Hour Later XDDD , so i did get ripped off but it seriously not my fault i took your advices before i posted my INT bird then i looked at all the posts telling me i got ripped off , so i decided to change back , not only did i change back but i did something very smart with my armor ,read more below pics..

i changed back to this and then asked my sister to go onto her PL and i gave her all my mage armor : then i went onto my level 14 mage and asked my sis to give the mage armor to my account so atleast it wasnt a total waste of 205k but atlest i can wear it when i'm level 50 :/

well theres no harm in trying but i heard they are good at farming but dex birds are supposedly the best.

As far as I understood it, an INT bird is a fair alternative to a Dex bird, if you don't have the gold for end-game dex gear. You won't be able to deal just as much dmg as a pure dex bird could do, but you can get relatively cheap lv55 gear (sewer queen) for it. Other than that, I don't really see a reason

For that amount of gold, wouldn't it be better to just get a regular roach set for your bird, and use the rest of your gold on something else?

Maybe I'm missing the point here, but what benefit does int have for a bird? You gained 5% crit and 14 m/s. In exchange for that you lost 20% hit, 2% dodge, 19 h/s, 153 dps (ZOMG!) and 9 armor. FAIL?

Back on topic, an arguably even larger issue than the 153 dps that he lost (that you so kindly pointed out) is the fact that bird skill damage only scales with dex. The skill damage loss with an int bird is an even greater sticking point for me. Also, the hit loss you mention is irrelevant as he will still be soft hit-capped. Aside from that I agree with your points.

you don't run out of mana easily, so it feels fun being able to spam your skills without paying for pots. otherwise, as intended, a bird skill set doesn't benefit from regen, but damage. your blast shots and combos are so weak that, even if you could spam a lot of it, other birds are doing 5 times more damage than you, and are constantly drinking mana that you would be better just rolling a mage.

i haven't even touched a mana pot or health becaus ewhen ever i touch a skill it regens and the bar doesnt look like it moved even a milimetre so thats probably the benefit of an INT bird and its also good at farming
