Lol i know the feeling
i keep seeing threads on how to defeat boss even though there are lots of guides on the forums.
So instead of writing a guide because i use my phone its easier to just be a visual guide and the player gets to defeat the stage too.
you just cant get that by reading a how to

I got lucky, and had a level 51 bird help me on the OL. He and I both wanted to unlock VL, and he was on the OL quest. (I was a 44) he had me pin him, and he lit him up like the fourth of July. If you ever see a lvl 50+ archer wearing shadow archer gear, never doubt his gear. If he is smart enough, he can solo him without a tanking pot. (he used about 5-6 health pots and 15-20 mana pots). just know what you are doing, and he's relatively easy to kill. (can you pin gurg? and if yes, if a wall is imbetween you and him when he growls, do you get hit?)

No i dont think gurgox can be glitched this way i think that only OL & Keeper can.
But if you got a good team you can beat him before he growls.

just be sure to make sure the mages in the group get the orbs so they can revive the fallen
if your team keeps pounding him and a mage grabs the orbs and revives he should not take too long.
Also if you cant hear him growl watch for the red smoke near his feet anytime you see that hes going to attack with his chi shout.

Ive been trying the old glitch but it seems they have fixed that now.
as soon as you go out of the door he resets.

without a archer who has got good enough armour or can get a tank pot.
this fight is very tough i was helping some players yesterday and thay refused to buy a tank pot so therefore died almost instant.
so i was left to solo i can survive but it takes far too long and uses up lots of potions.

i want to help but im a bear and without shield break its just a pain even for a lvl 56
