Done 1000 snowball Quest today

Been solo Frozen Nightmare from lvl50 , now my bear be come lvl30 soon ,try to get this quest done and find my bear a nice 1h weapon , start Quest today 10 am , done at 2 pm
each 100 kill take few min break ,also about 30 min lunch ....

Grats, i remember finishin the frozen nightmare quests. Crazy quest, lotsa time involved. I was very happy when i was done with those quests kudos on elite questing.

how long did it take? and how often are the drops?

You'll finish pelts WAY before you finish the snowballs. I say you'll get about 30 or so per run. They have a low drop rate.

OH NO WAY.
TOME=TAKE ME 1hour for the quest.
It drops almost every monster/chest
But for the Snowball
It's like 10 times harder.
Also for your signature it's an elf not a catXD

that's right , pelts drop much ez then snowball , but i find a way to get snowball much fast

my pelts still on 500/1000 atm , but only take me like 4 hrs got 1000 snowball from 0

in the quest guides said level4 of the instance is the best for this quest , but i find level5 even better , don't need clean all of them ,just the group at the entrance ， total 7 mobs but they drop 3~4 snowballs , my int/dex mage wear shadow glow sick set can clean them with in 20sec , then rmk kill them over and over again ....

with rmk it's more like 30 sec a run , get 100 snowballs in about 30 runs = 900 sec = 15 min .
take a 5 min break after each 100 snowballs , so 20 mins x 10 = 200 min = 3hrs 20 min .
30 min for lunch break , so you can done it within 4 hours ..... it's a secret ..... don't tell any one ,plz

i havent done this on either of my characters, never seam to be anyone doing this map so i never start it

I always tend to start this quest every few days, but for some reason always give up at 100 snowballs and abandon the quest.

Oh that's nothing secret. I did that for the last 100 or so snowballs except that I used chapter 4 which did in fact give more snowballs in the same amount of time. I did test out chapter 5 and it's more like 2 maybe 3.

This quest becomes exceedingly boring.
It's like someone was thinking how to add content... without adding content.

In any case, the "snowball" level is the best for that purpose.
You get a ~2:1 drop rate for pelts:snowballs, with ~25 snowballs per run.

Let's say it takes you 5 minutes for the level + remakes:
[(1000/25)*5]/60 ~ 3.3h

Oh, and you will have finished the pelt quest by the time you have ~500 snowballs...
