Is this for PvE? and how do you like to play the game, all out attack or some tanking? Is your mage a pally or are you full int?

It really depends. Both options have good and bad sides.

    str/dex:

    + High armor
    + High dodge
    - no range (got to get into close combat and that is trouble sometimes if enemy knows what to do)
    - Skills damage way lower since no pure dex

    Pure dex:
    + High damage / dps
+ Skills are very effective and does big damage
    - Anyone with dodge debuff kills easily you
    - Very low armor

That's what I get for just reading through the "What's New" search...sorry about the confusion.

I've been playing a bit with warbird in PvP and with the right equipment, it's pretty rocking. Lots of survivability, and you would be surprised how well the skill set works without having a ranged weapon. So while I agree with most of the statements above, my opinion is that the "no ranged weapon" is more of a neutral push (neither a negative or positive). By the time you use your skills correctly/incorrectly (ranged or not) you will either be alive and standing, or dead.

Oh -- and I think a warbirds shine more in team oriented PvP, like CTF. You tend to soak a lot of damage if you play in the frontline, which allows your teammates to kill and keep moving.

BTW, my ign is Silkenvoice, if you'd like to check out a warbird in PvP.
