Default Building mage build.. lv 46

Been looking all over and can't find whatI need. So best to build it ourselfs.

    1= unlocked skill
    2= second upgrade
    3= upgrade
    4= upgrade
    5= upgrade

    Fireball -1,2,3,4,5
    Wind - 1,3,4 (faster runs)
    Light - 1,2,3,
Ice - 1,3,4 (freezing enemies bugged, upgrade not really needed)
Time - 1,2,4,5 (explode upgrade useful?????? Debating)
Shield - 1,2,4,5 (knockback really not useful??? What about boss?)
Live giver - 1,2 (just for saving pots on easy runs/km3/ppl who ask)

    Passive
    Intel 5/5
    Str 5/5
    Dex 5/5
    Armor 5/5
    Crit 5/5 (if possible)

    Mobs I run
    Wind
    Fire
    Time
    Shield

    Boss I run
    Light
    Ice
    Time
    Shield

    Any opinions would be nice...

Pve- best build for mage is (Imo)
    Shield, ice, gale and clock/light.

If you have practice with these skills and maximise the effectivess
In every situation in pve you won't struggle, you would agree with me.

    Will try.. wind.ice.light.shield.

Went and bought some force gear for mage plus ring and pendant with my crafted. ...
SLAIN KING UNHOLY STAFF OR FORCE

    TO TRY THE CRIT %

    Got close to 30% crit
Damage and dps dropped like 200

Big trade off tho.. worth the trade?!!!

Don't use heal in km3. EVER. Also light fork crit and damage upgrades really work well together in km3. I have explode upgrade on PvE build on clock.

I hope this helps and you try to run km3 without heal!?

Edit: it is best to use wind and ice and not wind and fire. I use wind ice clock fire/light depending on the number of mobs in a pile. If laggy i switch to shield. Different bosses I approach with a different build.
Yup.... ice is better to use with wind than using fire with wind.......

When I equipped everything including pet (10%)

    Staff 3. Crit
    Helm 3-4 crit
    Armor 3-4 crit
    Ring 3-4 crit
    Pendant 3-4 crit
    Pet (10 critic) ribbit

Total 33% critical (bought 500 gold crit gears at lv46 ) around there. All force or high in crit.

    Dps 703 >>> 510
    Damage 547>>> 393

From assault gear to force gear (armor is fat.) same unholy weapon.

    Staff - unholy
    Helm - padded of force
    Armor - scavenger of fatality
Ring - force (impressive of force)
Pendant - force sagelalite. (Sorry about spelling)

3-5 crit depending on assault or bru. (Just weapon del light increase a little crit.) No jewels/gems.

I was hitting crit every other hit. I like the crit. But really not wroth it I think. Someone do calculations. That's would be gladly appreciated. .

And. Oh. Yea in elite ren.. lol.

-Shield just for survivability. . Or else something thing else could replace if you have enough armor/health...

    -wind blows them away...

-Ice freeze who try lies to come close

    - light hit for high damage

You have to keep up your damage while adding as much crit as possible, it makes no sense to raise crit while putting down damage that much! Your 547 damage setup is far better then the 393 damage setup, no doubt!
You can have a look in skills setup for your minimum and maximum dealt lightning strike damage (read in description of lightning strike) and this is the the damage range you deal to enemies!

Your damage is way too low, and regardless of your crit very few people will run with you...

    I usually consider damage 1st priority, health 2nd, crit 3rd, armor 4th
Hopefully that should help out with looking for the right gear to buy

Also your elite run build must must must include clock...
I am guessing that you need shield to survive in elites so here should be your build:

Fire,Ice/Light(depends on if you need the freeze),Clock,Shield...

The reason I don't suggest gale for you yet is because I am unsure if you use it properly. (explain to me how you use gale in elites in better detail)
Anyway start with charged fire, charge ice if 3+ mobs are grouped together, else freeze any ranged character or shamen, then use charged clock...

Learn how to maintain a constant stun/root on enemies so they are easier to deal with.

500 damage with 20 crit is better than 600-700 damage with 6-7 crit -_-

Keep in mind to keep enough brutality items in your gear, no str and int means no HP,which means a squishier smurf in elites.

A dead smurf is a non crowd controlling smurf. No crowd control =GG party who are relying on mage to stun/freeze/snare enemies.
How about 700 dmg with 20 crit?

    Well using the skills gale.ice.light.shield

    Charged ice - freeze mob
    Light - do some damage/stun
Wind - blow who didn't freeze and keeps them at distance.
    Shield - use when ness.
    And repeat. For elite.

That's kind of how I am running elite now still miss fireball and time.

    Before I was running
    Ice - freeze
    Fire - stun
    Time - snare
    Shield

    I've tried
    Time
    Light
    Ice
    Gale

Works pretty good like very good.

What you think about this: i use fire and gale in same spec. I not mage specialized but hmm my friend told me its good.

Gale and FB stun don't work together, for example if you just fireball stunned an enemy you have to wait for a while(idk exact time) before you can stun him again. The knock back upgrade on gale makes it s better stun than FB but FB is hands down the better DPS skill.
So gale ice clock light will work better than gale ice clock fire
    Right?

The perfect build is light clock fire and ice. The mage AoE and dot really stacks up in elites.
Thanks Avikk for tips haha i guess its time to respec my mage

    Try this:

    Gale
    Fire
    Ice
    Clock

Don't charge gale when mobs are in clock...just tap it. Use charged gale to move around fast and pull next mob set.
