Some issues I have with the Halloween Event.....

Just some thoughts.....

1) Energy Essence drop rate is way too low. I farmed WT3 for over an hour with my level 10 sorcerer, and did not drop any energy essences.

2) Candy Bar drop rate is way too high. During that same hour candy bars were dropping like rain.

3) Due to the high drop rate of candy bars, everyone has tons of candy bags and so everyone is able to continuously fight Boogie, and so the vanity items that come from his drops are becoming almost worthless. Boogie is supposed to be the "bonus" boss of this event, yet I have fought him more than any of the other bosses. Every singe time I have come across his portal, I have had a candy bag, and I have a ton in my stash. It should not be that way.

4) I have not confirmed this, but I understand that there is a bug that allows you to enter Boogie's portal without a candy bag. As I have so many candy bags, I have not even attempted to do this. I don't want to say what the bug is, but I can PM this info to a developer if need be.

5) In previous events, defeating the "bonus" boss gave event points -- more points than beating any of the other bosses. Yet in this event, defeating Boogie does not give any event points. Due to this, and due to the low energy essence drop rate, it is impossible to compete on the leaderboard for this event unless you spend a crap load of plat and just keep buying energy.

BTW, it is still early in this event, so all of these issues can still be fixed!

Most of the cases, my luck elixir + lepre rerolled energy essences. Happend for at least 20 times in the last couple of days. I think devs said energy essences are not in the loot table, hmmm what?

Yes, wear a lep and arlor band. They mega messed up and energy seems to be hidden in the reroll loot table.

Agree with boogie. I've already started selling his bags as bags. And in some cases skip his portal. After I get the cinder vanity, I'm pretty done. Plat isn't even worth it as the weapon vanities are relatively cheap in comparison to previous plat tier items.

One thing is the lag and ping spike..i cant play and run event and always get stuck need to always remap..i gave up playing this event its been lagging for four days now..

Also every event you can reach plat tier without spending plats(you farm kits), but this one you will be lucky to make it halfway to plat... Due to boss not giving points and energy essence at a near extinct drop rate.

I think the reroll occurs on drops in the essences and ingredients section of the loot table, eg. Jewels and Candy Bars will reroll to Energy Essences as they are designated "rare" as opposed to the Energy Essence's "epic" based on the color scheme. I don't think every rare drop has a chance to reroll to Energy Essecne like you suspect it does. In any case I think this does help the farming of essences. People go into KM3 with stacked lepre/reroll lix/eggshell band proc anyway. If you took this away farming of energy would become even more difficult for the general population. However I do understand the unfairness toward people who do not have access to reroll. So if there is a fix to this, please increase the rate of energy essence drop. Making essences drop at a low rate is just a very clear indication that you want people to spend plat to enjoy the event and by doing this you put that very enjoyment out of the reach of most rank-and-file players.

Only pointing that can be looted. I enjoy it in the full away farming energy essences

Because of that pumpkin head guy, it's pretty easy to get 3k token vanity if you play around 2 hours and just farm him. It's not even necessary to farm event bosses.
