At approximately 18:00 today the United Colonies Defense Force experienced several system failures across multiple platforms. The Scorn are believed to behind this latest attack and we are continuing to investigate.

Basically no one knows much about these Scorn, except they are likely some kinda bugs and humans dont seem to be their best buddies, however UCDF is -
United Colonies Defense Force serves the entire FastGate network and provides the necessary logistical support, engineering and tactical operations in accordance with the intergalactic strategic exploration plan. (ISEP)

In accordance with the ISEP we honor the pioneering efforts of those who have gone before us and endeavor to maintain a mutually beneficial environment for the joint exploration, colonization and commercialization of the farthest reaches of our network.
The various UCDF classes, Commando, Engineer and Operative combine to form small tactical deployment units to inspect cargo, secure portals and handle space encounters.
