"Sobek's Return" Bug

So im a lvl 39 and finished all the ao1 quests so i was starting the ao2 ones... i completed a few and then i got to sobek's return quest and decided to go back to ao1 for a while, but i had already accepted the quest for later. Playing ao1 i got to the sobek part of it and defeated him but for some reason it said that i completed my quest EVEN THOUGH i was at ao1 and not ao2 defeating him. I promptly turned my ao2 quest (that was somehow done in ao1) into the mummy npc, accepted the cash reward, and accepted the next quest... ... so has anyone else encountered this problem and any thoughts from devs?
