Arcane ring vs Planar Pendant

Wondering the stats of the 2 items alone, and which to get first. I need to do some the planar dailies before finishing all the requirments for the planar pendant.(who knew you weren't supposed to liquidate all of them >.<)

Ring hands down.

The benefits from ring make it far better to get, not to mention you are going to need the ring to farm the various non-buyable ingredients for planar pendant.

To add to this, if we head into a new expansion soon, you will be able to sell the ring, while the planar pendant is not tradeable.

Can someone add a thread about what is needed for the Planar Pendant or it is listed once you buy the now 250k reciepe? Which seems a bit much since the arc ring recipe is only 50k.
