I have a set of scorpion horus right now, I'd there anything better I should be looking at before 50? And what should I go for when I get to 50

I used sunblessed void set until 55. Less than 250k.
Then I got the RR set.

Don't worry about equips too much, just get a good group and grind it out using 1.5exp pots.

If money is a problem, do the mystery helm and armour quests. And use a sunblessed bow. Cost? Less than 5k.

Train at Crush the Keeper until 53, then all the way to 55 at Hideout.

I went with sentinel, had enough to get helm and gun... only once piece of armour for sale and it's about 6x what I have left :P

Drainer's recurve is pretty good for clearing when mixed with the right equipment. I never use it for bosses though, unless I forget to switch. Henchman's is highly overrated.

I still see 55s and 56s with the best gear and less than 10k PvE kills. That's if they aren't so ashamed of their stats that they hide them, lol.

If you want to drop your own items for FREE, then don't do just CTK and Hideout. Lots of xp runs skip the bosses, which means you'll end up at L53 or L55 needing lots of gold because you didn't drop anything for FREE.

Just got 53, have about 350k gold right now. I bought sentinel's helm and gun, armour still got a little ways to go.
