What are Item Packs

What are item packs and how are they obtained? Are they bought with plat, or is it a matter of collecting specific drops?

Item packs are platinum bought "packs" that contain different gear that can be used for your character.

What you mean by collecting specific drops is an item "set".

These sets usually have the same prefixes/suffixes, such as "Item of the Set". Also, these sets usually have set bonuses, where if you wear the complete set, you get a bonus amount of stats added.

Elly pretty much answered it, however the item packs cost a ton of plat and are inferior to gear that can be worn from drops. The only item packs that are decent are the lvl 10 and 20 because they can be used for twinking, and the 4 packs are better

yes, but if you are a 20 mage, and are having a hard time, buy the 20 plat pack. So much M/S, and if you know how to play this well, then you can wear that armor until level 35, because you'll get Rayched in AO1.

yep....its expensive but worth it if you are a slow leveler or a twink for item drops or something

Seems like on some of the plat bought items you cannot view the stats , which always keeps me from buying. Is there something I'm missing?
