If I'm lvl 53 and I buy a "lvl 55 gemstone plate recipe" do I have to be lvl 55 to craft it?? Or can I still be lvl 52 and make it

I dont think there's a level requirement for crafting items higher than your level, so ya I think you can

You can craft anything no matter the level although you can't use if you don't meet the level requirements an stat requirements

yep they removed that rule. It used to be that a low level could not craft high level crafts but now you can.
