Yes Sam stated today that once you get all 4 you are automatically entered for a chance.

I got 1 set from Sam and 1 from Droid2 (who someone said is thade?). It was kinda funny yesterday with vulgarstrike running around in his droid costume.

Yes, we'll run a script to gather all the names of everyone with all 4 buttons and automatically enter them into the random drawing for the 1000 Platinum.

It's hardly effortless. The instance with Sam fills up quick and I spent a while looking for him last night.

Really don't care that the event is over. Mind accepting please?

My apologies for not being clearer in the original announcement. Once you have all 4 button vanity helmets, there is nothing further you need to do. You will be automatically be included in the list of player accounts who have all 4 button vanity helmets. The winner will be randomly selected from the list of all accounts with all 4 button vanity helmets on Friday, June 10th.

What happened to the original prize that was listed on the news feed Tuesday evening?

There are a lot of legal issues about giving away items with "real world value" and we didn't have time to get all the lawyering in line to cover our butts (especially internationally where there are a LOT of laws about "gambling" "games of chance" "sweepstakes" and "contests").

So, we had to keep the prize to virtual goods.

Ok cool and how will the winner be notified? Not everyone follows the forum, so I guess it will be by email?
