1. Devs have confirmed SL will be Free-To-Download: Freemium with micro-transactions.

2. PL was initially free to play up to Level 13; then purchase campaigns up to Level 25.

3. However, SL may adopt a different pricing system or be same or become free after a certain number of
months eg when next maps are released... All in all we will know when devs are ready to launch.

You have to realize, as much as they love PL, its still a job. They must make money and have enough to pay server costs and get paid, or the game can't stay up. We are not just players, but also potential customers. STS love their game, but remember its still a business.
