I think if pm's and trade requests were able to be turned off or friends only. Than allows us to put a message back like I am sorry user is not taking any messages. Trade requests user does not accept random trades. For friend requests your request is under review. Another message when denied could say your request has was denied sorry.

people do that actually lol. its actually helpful occasionally if you need something, but buying it isnt on your mind atm, and the dude is already there ready to sell it to you.
