    Default Survivability is key

Armor, weapons, and group setup will add to your groups survivability and success. Yet the ultimate responsibility lies upon the person - ALWAYS have health and power potions for quick consumption. It is a casters job to always heal but not to keep you alive - dead birds do 0 dps. Keeping yourself alive will additionally put less strain on your casters and the tank. Hope this helps.

Nice little help thread! Yes dead birds do only 0 dps and birds too should try to get a little armor in there so they can survive. Instead of focusing all on dps with my bird, I try to get as much armor in there because that is his weak point. That way I can still dish out serious damage while having the survivability to take aggro if needed.

oh and welcome to the forums!
