Which is better a tank or a Dex bear? I am currently a tank but i want to know if dexbear is better cause I might trade in my fury set for a raid set. Please leave some feedback

I'd choose a more expensive dex set, and use the cheaper alternative tanking set.

As a Dex bear you greatly increase your single target dmg (auto-attack) and skill dmg (not to mention the higher crit and hit% that archer gear gives you). On the other hand, you greatly decrease your survivability (armor, h/s, dodge). If you're used to fury gear, you have to completely revise your play style and be ready to spam your health potions to be able to survive. For example, roundups or gathering of large amounts of mobs becomes very hard, if not impossible.

to the op, as Elly said, dual spec is the way to go IMO. But you'll need both archer and warrior sets. Be sure to check Elly's guides (in his sig) if you intend to dual spec

And for all doubters of my rockstar status:

Well wouldn't question of "which is better" solely rest upon the style of play he wants to pursue?

I think the question was pertaining to which set, I confused it as which build as well

IMO, more investment on a good dex set is more rewarding than an expensive str set.

An alternative, cheaper version of a tank set is actually more effective than a full set, if you're looking to just tank

dex bear is not for the light oof heart. you need to understand that a pure dex bear, has massive amounts of dps. i find the best gear is talon/wing. as you can gain the most out of attribute/stat buffs this way, main damage is a bit light, but the dps with mag rage is insane. its best to play a bit with it to get used to it, you can't just tank in there. if you have plat to burn, get some gear first, swap over, and take it for a ride. i'm sure you'll find the flavour you like.

tank bear. yeah... not so much... dps bear.

I find that people that r different from there class (archer- sword or staff, warrior- bow or staff, mage- sword or bow) have higher deaths then the people that stick with their class (archer-bow, warrior-sword, mage-staff) So I say go with the tank bear

    to me a dex bear
especially high level regen for health and mana could be high. Armor will be good, health will still be high, gives the bear more natural damage, more accuracy, more dodge, more crit, and with a good build the dexbear is a beast. And all you can kite to ;D.

To me the dex bear is a great all around character and probably the best one
