L80 bear

is dex or str the way to go for an 80 bear overall? also which is cheaper & funner?

Id say hybrid (stats) with sentinel elites seems fun but who knows im a bird.

Personally, I prefer having an int/str bear (primary int stat). I created my int bear with the sole purpose of using a lust staff set for the ice proc, which is what I use now. But instead of using the full lust int set, I use Magor armor (better defense and damage) with a lust helm and lust staff. Almost never die on my bear, have more than sufficient mana and health supply, and with the ice staff, I'm able to complete the shattered combo alone without a mage (normally mage's ice plus bear's stomp). On 3x, I clean out BSM and any other dungeon like it's nothing.

Lol I'm replying in general, because he did not specify PVE or PVE. PVP isn't the only way to go in PL.

I tried scimitar and then sold it. Waste of cash... I am personally happy for talon. After a long era of savage and lust sword/dagger sets is nice change to pvp with long range weapon.
