Can PL platinums be used with SL?

I was thinking of buying more PL platinum. But, if I can't use it in SL, maybe I should just wait until SL comes out and spend money there instead. Is it possible that PL and SL will share platinum?

Yes it can be shared

At least that how I remember it being posted by the devs.

Yes platinum will work with all STS games.

When you get your hands on Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles you will need to log in with your same account information as you log into Pocket Legends. Then, you'll have access to the Platinum that's in your account.
